Rural Modernism

While large urban areas undoubtedly offer rich pickings for the architectural photographer, I often find tracking down examples of early modernist structures in more traditional county towns and rural areas is more rewarding. In many cases these buildings represent the only example of progressive inter-war architecture constructed in each respective area.

This portfolio will contain a growing collection of images shot predominantly in Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire & Shropshire.
